I've already picked the Chinese name 钟睿暄 even before her birth but her daddy said it didn't sound nice so I told him to go think of a better one. However, knowing my husband, I've already told some of my friends that we would still use that name in the end because he wouldn't really crack his brain to think of one. To me, a name must still be meaningful and not just "sound nice" - 睿 means "wisdom" and 暄 means "warmth, sunshine". To me, it's simply a beautiful name.
However, I did force Bryan to go and choose her Christian name. After days of nagging, he finally sat down, searched through the Internet and selected a few names (ie. Charmaine, Kristine, Joey, Sarah, Bernice, Candice, Kelly, Lynsey, Sherry, Jasmine & Jacqueline). Personally, Charmaine and Joey are the 2 names which I've also had in mind before that. Eventually, Charmaine is chosen and it means "charm" (in English), "bountiful orchard" (in French) and "joy & delightful" (in Greek).
With Charmaine's name fresh out from the oven, I could finally design the e-card and create the FB event to invite friends & relatives to attend her full month celebration which is going to be held this coming Sunday.
Another mad rush... Well, this is certainly something which I don't want my girls to take after the both of us - the bad habit of procrastination. I pray that they could be more organised and not always complete their work at the eleventh hour.
