Julia Gabriel PlayClub - Second Lesson

Clairene left the house excitedly for her lesson again today. I can see she has really enjoyed herself at the playgroup and she kept telling Ah Ma about uncle's guitar.

Once we arrived, she quickly went to join the instructors and other kids to play with the toys.



I found today's lesson a bit draggy and the free playtime seemed a bit long. The lesson structure is pretty much the same and since this week's focus is on dolphins, Clairene did 2 more dolphin-related craft work. It's interesting how they taught the dolphin's body parts by getting them to do a simple pasting activity.

Clairene's favourite activities are singing, dancing and playing. She was still quite full during snack time, hence, she's not even interested in the biscuits today. After putting away her plate and mug, she was the first one to stand by the door even before the instructors started to sing the "By the Door" song to gather them. At the play corner, I pointed out to her there's a little kitchen which she didn't really notice on Wednesday and we spent some time "cooking" there. But most of the time, she's still running from toy to toy. She even tried to sneak through the dividing gates to join another play group on the other side of the corridor.

As her lesson is from 11.30am to 1.30pm which is supposedly her lunch time, I have decided to pack her porridge so she can have it immediately after lesson. As expected, she K.O.
